After a good night rest and a nice breakfast, everybody was ready to climb the 294 stairs to go all the way up the Bunker Hill Monument. It was a good exercise to start our day !
After that, both classes went on a guided tour. We learned a lot of things about Boston. Did you know that 5 cows and 2 dogs were executed because they were accused of witchcraft? Did you know that rich people painted their front door in different colors depending on important events in their life? Pretty cool, right?
After all those informations, nature was calling us. That's when we headed to the Aquarium. We saw tons of fishes and we even touched rays and sharks! IMAX theater was right after our Aquarium visit. We saw the Sharks 3D movie but it wasn't that fun... Mr. Patrick even fell asleep during the movie! Luckily for all of us, he woke up before the end!
Quincy Market was now waiting for us. We had a little impromptu workshop about the site's history by a Federal Park guide and then we did a little bit of shopping.
The last stop before our ride back to the hotel was the Fire and Ice restaurant. It was a lot of fun because we could choose everything that would go into our plates. We even sang Happy Birthday to Lori and Florence with all the restaurant staff.
Back at the hotel, some of us went to the pool while others just stayed in our rooms to relax...
That's it for today! We will be back for another recap tomorrow!
